Tour News – More Dates – And The End Of Jarzilla!

July 8th will be the last performance of Jarzilla!

So the good news is my Jarzilla Standup Show is selling out everywhere I put it on and we’ve added dates all over the place. The bad news is that you’re running out of time to see it. I’m going to completely stop performing this hour of standup on July 8th. The new show is coming together really well so far but I’ll need to get the head down and write it fully during late July and throughout August.

This go round has been a bit of a bolt from the blue and I’m really grateful to all the people who have come out to see it. You have no idea what it means to have so many sound heads at these shows. I get that loads of you won’t be able to come until I bring the new show out to the US and Australia.

For now, this is what I’ve done and the shows with tickets remaining.

So grab a ticket while you can. I promise you’re going to have a great night. I won’t just talk about the marathon but I will definitely talk about it a little bit.

Jar.

Tickets For Dublin Show Now On Sale…(plus more news)

The poster for the show
Click to book tickets or call 1800 266 339 for group discounts.

Pretty much the only solo show I’ll be doing in Dublin until the Autumn. “Here For A Good Time Not A Long Time” will be exactly what it says on the poster. A night of all new standup, messing and stories with one or maybe two other acts that I love to warm you up.  I’ve kept the ticket price as low as possible so more us can go. Just click on the poster to book them or give the box office a shout if you’re going with a group and they will hook you up with some sort of group discount.  I really can’t wait for this one. See you there.

HA,HA,HA!…Announcing The Biggest Show….

I’m very happy to announce my first ever solo night in The Laughter Lounge in Dublin. Sure I’ve done little spots there before but never have I been given the whole venue for a whole night.  I’m excited and I have all sorts of plans and surprises lined up for you if you come along.

This is a poster of a man attempting not to look arrogant.

There’s more. I’m also taking the opportunity to record my second live album on the night so if you show up, as a way to say thank you, you’ll receive a download code and will be able to get it for free when it comes out. Then you can listen to it while doing the dishes or driving your car or anything really, how you chose to live your life is your choice.

This show has been 6 months in the making and Aiken Promotions have helped to put the whole thing together so you can be sure it will be a goody. I want to thank Rob Stears and Shane Langan for applying their talent to making this poster for me.

Finally, as a regular visitor to my website I’m offering you a discount on the tickets for this big event. Just click here and enter the promo code: “CHEAP” and you’ll get a substantial amount off each ticket you buy. If you’re not a regular visitor and just stumbled across this…I am going to have to trust you not to abuse this facility. You’re going to abuse it aren’t you. Damn it!

Christmas Cards Nearly All Gone?

Sadly nearly all the Christmas cards are all gone.  I say sadly, but my head is wrecked from packing them up and sending them.  So I’m a little relieved to be honest.  The most popular cards are all still available but only in packs of 12 and 6. The packs are presented kinda nice with black tissue and fancy wrapping paper.  So even if you don’t get a chance to send them, they make a pretty decent gift.

A lot of people who don’t have credit cards or Paypal have been asking if there is another way to buy the cards.  The answer is yes.  Come to any of these gigs I am doing and I’ll have them in my bag and I’ll sell them to you there and then.

Dec 12th – The Wool Shed, Parnell Square Dublin – 9pm

Dec 15th – The International Bar, Wicklow Street

Dec 16th – The International Bar, Wicklow Street

Dec 17th – The International Bar, Wicklow Street

Dec 19th – The Workman’s Club, Dublin

Your chance to win…and be popular*!

The final night of the tour known as “The Back Road Comedy Show” takes place in Whelan’s of Wexford Street on Saturday December 3rd.  If you didn’t already know that have a quick click on the link for more details.  But here’s the new news.  Aiken Promotions are giving me two pairs of VIP tickets to give away to you.  I think the fairest way to do this is to have you send me an email and then do a draw out of a hat or tea cosy. Then I’ll let you know who wins this Friday. Good luck!

A winner and a loser at the same time?.

*Popularity not guaranteed but more than likely.
